[PODCAST] Turn of Events: Hustle in Hospitality

Social Tables

Nobody likes the smartest kid in the class. What seems effortless to them takes you twice as long to study for, to complete, to master. So what’s the workaround? If you’re finding that your business is up against a modern day, event-planning savant, today’s episode has the glitch in the Matrix to give you the upper hand: hustle.

Join the movement for a better event. Try Social Tables today.

In our most expletive-friendly episode yet, Graham and Laura share the Turn of Events microphone with renowned industry event producer, Aaron Kaufman. President of the Fifth Element Group, Aaron has partnered with some of the biggest companies on the planet to execute his signature events.

But how did he get to such a place? What makes his events stand-out from the rest? For starters, he assures it isn’t because of a non-existent staff of 30+ employees behind him.

I’m a firm believer that behind every successful person, there are a s***-ton of unsuccessful years“, says Aaron.

It’s a mantra that Aaron has carried with him since his beginnings in the industry over 18 years ago. Like most of us, Aaron doesn’t necessarily consider himself to be the absolute best in the world at what he does. This fact, however, can never take away from the hard work any planner or property can put into making that next event a spectacular one.
